How to get an iPhone XS and XS Max on sale in Australia
Apple has confirmed that it will launch a limited number of the iPhone Xs and Xs Max in Australia this week, after previously promising that they would be available on Monday.
Apple said in a statement to the Australian Financial Review that it would be “prepared to offer limited quantities of each model at select retail outlets” on Monday, before launching the phones in its retail stores on Tuesday.
The iPhone X and X+ are priced at AU$1,873 ($1,918) and AU$2,865 ($3,094) respectively, and are available from Apple’s retail stores starting Tuesday.
They will cost AU$999 ($1.099), AU$919 ($1 to AU$1119), AU $1,199 ($1 in Australia), AU, AU$ 1,499 ($2.49 in Australia).
The iPhone 8 is available from all major retailers in Australia for AU$749 ($1) or AU$849 ($2), and is also available in select retail stores.
Apple has yet to announce pricing for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, which will launch in the US on Thursday.
